About
Jodick (Joe) Perry Etheridge
Jodick (Joe) Perry Etheridge is a Texas writer whose work lives at the intersection of science, industry, memory, inheritance, and consequence.
Born and raised in Columbus, Texas, he studied Bioenvironmental Sciences at Texas A&M University and built a career in environmental fieldwork, industrial emissions, and measurement systems.
His work has included the Peregrine Fund’s aplomado falcon restoration project, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, and ConocoPhillips. In 2010, he founded Encino Environmental Services and holds four patents related to emissions measurement and abatement.
His writing draws from a life spent around instruments, regulations, engines, leaks, landscapes, wildlife, and the uneasy distance between what can be measured and what can be lived.
